Where is Seleni Hernandez Photography located?
We are located in the central Houston area. Most of our sessions take place in Houston, however, we are always willing to travel to find beautiful locations in surrounding areas.
How long does it take to receive my images?
Lifestyle photo sessions such as Family, Maternity, Children, Grad, etc. can be expected 2-3 weeks of your session date. For weddings, please allow from 6-8 weeks.
What do you need to book a session/wedding date?
For Lifestyle sessions, a $50 non-refundable retainer is required to save your date and time; remaining balance is due the day of the session. For Weddings, I require a 20% non-refundable retainer and a signed contract to save the date; remaining balance for weddings is due 7 days prior to the wedding.
How do you process payment?
We accept different types of payments, including cash, checks, and credit cards.
How do you deliver photos?
You will receive an online gallery with all your images in high resolution. An online gallery is a fully processed, edited, and downloadable gallery of your images.
How many images will I receive in the online gallery?
The number of images will vary from session to session and wedding to wedding. This may depend on the hours booked as well as the number of events you have. Typically, our wedding clients receive from 500-750 fully edited images. For lifestyle photo sessions (1-1.5hr long) you will receive about 50-75 fully edited images.
Do you back up all images?
Of course! All wedding images are backed up on several platforms. Same with regular photo sessions.
Do you have a backup plan in case your camera gives up on you in the middle of a wedding/session?
Yes! I am big on this. WE have several cameras that we carry with us on photo days to make sure we don’t encounter this issue.
Do you travel for photo sessions or weddings?
Absolutely! If the location is 50 miles from the zip code 77087, a fee of $1/mile is charged. If I am traveling to photograph a wedding out of Houston or surrounding areas, I do require a fee for a
two-night stay at a hotel of your choice within 10 miles of the location of the wedding.

Our hope is that when you hire Seleni Hernandez Photography to photograph your wedding, we will have a connection personally. We will be spending lots of time with you prior to and on your wedding date and we want to make sure you are comfortable, that you feel beautiful, and most importantly that you’re having fun! We hope to share emotions with you and share with you, the biggest day of ever!
Can we meet you in person before booking?
Absolutely! We would love to. Getting to know our clients is very important to us, and a wonderful experience. It loosens everyone up before we have to make any commitments to one another.
